Avfuel Welcomes Sheltair’s Newest FBO to Branded Network

Avfuel Corporation welcomed Sheltair’s new FBO at Georgia’s Gwinnett County Airport (KLZU) to its branded network effective April 2, 2023.

The location, just 33 miles from downtown Atlanta, was awarded in a competitive process based on a $17-million program to enhance and expand the airport.

“Sheltair made an all-in commitment to Gwinnett County and Avfuel is eager to help the company achieve its vision,” Joel Hirst, Avfuel’s senior vice president of sales, said.

“We value the partnership we have with Sheltair and look forward to working with its team to support general aviation in Georgia’s largest metro area.”

“We intend to exceed expectations and are dedicated to making Gwinnett County Airport the best it can be; Avfuel is an important part of that,” Lisa Holland, president of Sheltair, said.

“The advantages Avfuel offers add value for our guests, and we look forward to extending that value to our network’s latest FBO addition.”
