Rotortrade, the global helicopter dealership, has achieved a record-fast delivery of an Airbus H135 T3 from Italy to India’s Star Air, which is the aviation arm of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, underscoring its expertise in managing complex international transactions.

The aircraft, sold in September 2025, is now fully operational in India, supporting Star Air’s expansion into high-value corporate and charter operations.

What makes this transaction stand out is the remarkable speed and precision of execution.

Rotortrade coordinated with Airbus and India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to complete the Type Certificate revision and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) validation for the AAT VIP interior in just six weeks — a process that normally takes more than four months.

Aurélien Blanc, Executive Director & Head of Region APAC, MEA & Africa at Rotortrade said: “This transaction is a reflection of what defines Rotortrade — precision, agility, and global teamwork.

“Completing a complex international handover and dual certification in record time is not just a technical win, but a testament to our people.

“I would like to congratulate Vijay Sharma, Rotortrade Sales Manager, India for his dedication in leading this project to a successful outcome.”

Capt. Simran Singh Tiwana, CEO, Star Air said: “We are delighted to partner with Rotortrade for the acquisition of our Airbus H135.

“Their professionalism and swift execution have been outstanding. This milestone enables us to accelerate our foray into premium charter and corporate aviation, furthering Star Air’s commitment to delivering world-class air mobility in India,”.
