Phillips 66 Aviation, one of the largest refiners in the United States and a major jet and avgas fuel supplier to general aviation, commercial and military aviation, has unveiled significant hangar expansions at its Phillips 66 branded FBOs.
The expansions are set to address the growing demand for more space, enhanced privacy and elevated services.

KCAC Aviation, located at the Johnson County Executive Airport (KOJC) in Olathe, Kansas, has begun construction on a new 30,000-square-foot maintenance hangar.
Set to open mid-2025, this expansion will double the company’s maintenance capacity to accommodate better demand for services like routine inspection services and major overhaul repairs, and it will allow the FBO to maintain the growing number of aircraft in its sales region.
The new hangar will support KCAC Aviation’s role as the factory-authorized sales and service center for Pilatus and Piper in the Midwest.
Texas Jet at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW) in Fort Worth, Texas, is nearing completion of its 25th hangar, a 38,000-square-foot VIP hangar designed for customers seeking more privacy.
The new hangar, known as Hangar 4C, will feature amenities customers have come to expect from Texas Jet and will accommodate the latest long-range business jets.
Featuring secured, covered parking and a private luxurious lobby, the new hangar will expand Texas Jet’s total hangar space at FTW to over 540,000 sq ft.
This expansion aligns with the strong demand for space and contributes to Texas Jet’s recognition as the #1 Independent FBO in the 2024 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey.
DuPage Flight Center at DuPage Airport (KDPA) in West Chicago, Illinois, introduced a newly constructed 48,000-square-foot hangar in August 2024.
This crucial expansion will significantly enhance capacity by providing additional office and tenant space, accommodating the growing need for storage and service capabilities. With the completion of this new hangar, the total hangar space at DuPage Flight Center will reach 150,000 sq ft.
