Private aviation firm Magellan Jets has unveiled a new $500,000 jet card aimed at football fans planning to attend multiple matches during next year’s major international tournament across North America.
The “World’s Game Jet Card” is designed to offer flexible access to private charter flights for supporters travelling between host cities during the competition.
The company described the package as an “event-focused jet card” created to help travellers navigate the logistical challenges associated with the tournament schedule and high demand for transport between venues.
A sample itinerary released by the company includes travel aboard an eight-seat Bombardier Challenger 300 between 13 and 27 June, covering matches in the tournament’s Eastern Region.
The proposed route includes stops in Boston, Atlanta, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York and Miami, all of which are scheduled to host matches during the period.
Private aviation companies are increasingly targeting major sporting events as demand grows among affluent travellers seeking to avoid congested commercial airports and complex travel schedules.
The tournament, which will be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico, is expected to generate significant demand for both commercial and private air travel, particularly during the group stages when supporters may attend matches in multiple cities over a short period.
