London Oxford Airport (LOA) today announced the first phase completion of its new, technology park, AEROX, set to bolster the region’s thriving R&D, advanced engineering and technology sectors.
AEROX’s initial buildings, providing flexible office and R&D accommodation, are now complete and ready for occupancy.
The entire development, which comprises five buildings and a café amenity hub, has been designed to offer maximum flexibility for future occupiers.
AEROX represents a significant investment by London Oxford Airport, with a total project cost of £48 million.
The development introduces 200,000 sq ft of high-quality office and lab space across five phases, with units up to 50,000 sq ft. The first phase offers units from 3,731 to 22,769 sq ft.
Designed to meet the highest sustainability standards, all AEROX buildings are targeting an EPC A rating and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification.
Key sustainable features include 25% EV charging spaces, photovoltaic (PV) roof panels on all units, and extensive open amenity spaces.
The buildings offer flexible ground floor R&D space with first-floor offices, featuring raised access floors, energy-efficient LED lighting, roof lights for natural illumination, and super-fast fibre broadband infrastructure.
The strategic location of AEROX at the gateway to London Oxford Airport provides global connectivity for an area known for high-performance engineering, motorsport and technology.
LOA is the UK’s busiest general aviation airport by air traffic movements and a leading regional and business aviation hub, providing direct access to thousands of global destinations.
Its dedicated FBO terminal offers VIP services, fast-track security, and unique amenities such as DEFRA-approved pet travel.
The airport is also home to a diverse range of aviation and aerospace companies, including the UK HQ of Airbus Helicopters and innovative spin-outs like OXCCU Tech Ltd, a resident focused on sustainable aviation fuel production, which recently received a c.£21million funding boost from private investors.

Alongside the launch of AEROX, London Oxford Airport is also constructing a new 70,000 sq ft hangar facility, anticipated for completion in December 2025.
This £13 million investment in airport infrastructure will further enhance LOA’s capacity and capabilities for larger business aircraft and MRO services.
New on-site amenities for AEROX occupiers include a dedicated café building and central courtyard, complemented by existing local amenities such as a day nursery and hotel.
Will Curtis, Managing Director of London Oxford Airport, said: “AEROX is a direct investment in the future of the Thames Valley.
“We’re building the infrastructure required to attract and nurture the next generation of high-value, high-skilled businesses in technology and aviation.
“London Oxford Airport’s not only a leading aviation hub, but a centre of innovation and a creator of employment and training opportunities for the region.”
