US-based operator JetSafe has launched Shared Visions, a new regional shared ownership and membership scheme built around the Cirrus Vision Jet, which the company claims offers the lowest-cost entry point into private jet ownership.

Under the programme, participants can purchase one-fifth or one-tenth ownership shares, starting at $275,000, or opt for a membership plan providing 35 hours of annual flight time.

Owners also gain access to other aircraft in the Shared Visions fleet when their own jet is unavailable, as well as to larger partner-operated aircraft for longer journeys.

JetSafe said owners would also receive a share of charter revenue generated from return legs sold to third-party passengers.

Kyle Hankinson, JetSafe’s president said: “The Shared Visions programme satisfies a market need for low-cost regional shared ownership and membership solutions.

“It’s ideal for couples seeking weekend getaways or business travellers who want a more convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional charter or commercial airlines.”

All aircraft in the programme are covered by full OEM maintenance plans for airframe, engine and avionics, and are serviced through more than 30 Cirrus-authorised centres.

Operated exclusively under FAR Part 135, JetSafe retains full FAA oversight and operational control of all flights.

The Cirrus Vision Jet features advanced safety systems such as the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and Safe Return emergency autoland technology.

JetSafe said it plans to establish a network of regional bases across the United States to support the initiative.

Diana Schneider, JetSafe’s managing director added: “We are excited to bring a unique regional shared ownership programme to the market.

“This aligns perfectly with our mission to make private aviation more accessible while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.”
