DC Aviation FBO with VIP passenger lounge at Nice Airport

DC Aviation G-OPS presented its newly designed FBO with VIP passenger lounge at Nice Airport during an opening ceremony on May 7th, 2024.

As part of the opening ceremony, 80 invited guests experienced the newly designed 300 square meter FBO, which offers a luxurious passenger lounge as well as a comfortable crew lounge and its own sanitary facilities.

After the takeover of the FBO by DC Aviation G-OPS in January 2023, the infrastructure was optimized and modernized without interrupting operations.

DC Aviation G-OPS worked with the renowned architecture firm Hollin + Radoske, which also designed the DC Aviation Group lounge at the Munich site.

In addition to maximum quality, comfort, and discretion for passengers, the lounge also provides the best possible relaxation for crews and well-being for employees.

The FBO is equipped with its own sanitary facilities, a unique feature in the Business Aviation Terminal at Nice Airport, ensuring an all-round first-class customer experience.

Karim Berrandou, CEO of G-OPS comments: “With a longstanding presence at Nice LFMN Airport, G-OPS has provided local expertise to its clients in the French Riviera for over a decade.

“The inauguration of the FBO marks a significant milestone for us as we expand our service offerings while pouring our local expertise into this cutting-edge FBO DC Aviation G-OPS.

“This addition reinforces G-OPS’ commitment to creating a unique platform dedicated to meet the needs of business aviation.”

Svenja Wortmann, Authorized Signatory of DC Aviation Group, said: ” We are very proud to set a new quality standard with our FBO in the Business Aviation Terminal at Nice Airport – one of the most popular and busiest airports in Europe.

“By improving the infrastructure, we guarantee fast and efficient handling processes and offer our customers the highest level of comfort and privacy.”

Marc Ambrosius, Managing Director of the DC Aviation Group, added: “DC Aviation G-OPS supports the airport’s zero-emissions concept in the operation of the FBO.

“This includes the conversion of the vehicle fleet to 100 percent electric drive as well as the reduction of disposable waste.

“Our aim is to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable aviation.”
