The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) welcomes the increase in new aircraft deliveries in 2024, as reported by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

The data, unveiled today at GAMA’s annual State of the Industry Press Conference in Washington, highlights continued growth in the business aviation sector.

Phil Winters, IADA Chair said: “The increase in new aircraft deliveries—particularly in the turbine powered segment—is fuelling activity in the preowned business aircraft market, where IADA dealers played a significant role in 2024.

“Most new aircraft buyers also have an aircraft to sell, which drives healthy turnover in the marketplace.”

“A strong pipeline of new aircraft supports a dynamic resale market, benefiting both buyers and sellers,” Winters added.

“We recognize the contributions of the eight leading new aircraft manufacturers within our association, whose efforts are essential to balancing supply and demand across the industry.”

Winters said that IADA drives the resale marketplace, noting that its accredited dealers represent the top 17 percent of professionals in the field and collectively handle 50 percent of all preowned business aircraft transactions worldwide.

By dollar volume, IADA dealers outpace the rest of the industry combined.
