Gama Aviation has signed a long-term agreement with ELMS Aviation to deploy its cutting-edge personnel competence and compliance platform across the company’s global operations, in a strategic move to enhance workforce development and operational standards.

The ELMS Solution, a cloud-based platform designed to manage training, qualifications, and staff development, was initially adopted by Gama Aviation’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) division. Following its successful implementation, the platform’s full suite of capabilities is now being rolled out across all areas of the business.

Paul Kinch, managing director of Gama Aviation MRO said: “Gama Aviation MRO is a critical part of our network and plays a big role in developing new engineering talent,”.

“With ELMS coming online in May, we’ll be able to better track training, competence, compliance, and progression for both new starters and experienced engineers. It’s a tool that supports how we grow our people and maintain our standards – and that’s what this industry needs more of.”

The ELMS platform offers an intuitive, cloud-accessible interface that enables real-time tracking of employee competence, training records, and authorisations. Its features support on-the-job assessments, workflow automation, and workforce allocation, giving aviation companies a powerful solution to manage highly regulated operations.

John Scale, general manager of ELMS Aviation, welcomed the expanded partnership: “We are thrilled to welcome Gama Aviation to our growing list of customers and showcase the value our digital competence management tool can offer.

“With the platform now fully integrated across Gama’s diverse operations, we’re excited to see the enhanced value and efficiency it brings.”

The adoption of the ELMS platform marks a significant step in Gama Aviation’s global growth strategy, ensuring that its workforce meets the highest standards in training and regulatory compliance.

The move also supports the company’s long-term aim of developing a robust talent pipeline for the future of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
