FL3XX, the global aviation management platform, is unveiling its new Chat function at NBAA-BACE, offering operators a dedicated tool to unify communication across flight operations.
The feature is built into the FL3XX Crew App, providing instant, secure messaging between sales, dispatch, and crew in one connected system.
By reducing reliance on external apps or disjointed channels, it ensures flight planning, roster changes, and passenger needs are all linked to the right flight record.
Paolo Sommariva, Co-Founder and CEO, FL3XX, says: “Communication is still one of the biggest barriers in daily operations.
“We have incorporated a familiar live chat interface, complete with timestamps and offline access to recent messages, making it easy to use and reliable even in low-connectivity environments.
“In simpler terms, it’s like Slack or Teams for aviation, helping teams make faster, better-informed decisions.”
With more than 130 integrations in FL3XX connecting the aviation ecosystem, operators using the platform have reported improved communication between departments by as much as 80%, a result of bringing all teams onto one integrated platform.
FL3XX Chat builds on that progress, giving operators a structured way to handle time-sensitive updates, last-minute changes, and in-flight needs without relying on fragmented systems.
Stefan Oberender, Co-Founder and COO, FL3XX, adds: “FL3XX Chat takes what operators already value about FL3XX – having workflows in one place, from scheduling and dispatch to maintenance and finance – and extends it to communication.
“It brings multiple departments together in a single channel, even when teams are spread across different locations or airports.
“For flight and ground teams, this means clarity and speed, with issues resolved in real time, updates tied to the right flight, and less risk of information being lost between tools.
“In an industry where timing and accuracy are critical, that kind of direct link makes collaboration far more effective.”
