A new digital marketplace offering discounted private jet repositioning flights has launched in the United States and Canada.
EmptyLegFinder.aero says its subscription platform aggregates more than 1,400 live “empty leg” flights at launch, with more than 200 additional listings added each day from licensed charter operators.
What are empty leg flights?
Empty legs occur when a private aircraft repositions for its next scheduled charter booking and would otherwise fly without passengers. Operators often sell these sectors at significantly reduced prices to travellers with flexible schedules.
The company says users can save up to 80% compared with standard charter rates by booking these repositioning flights directly with operators.
$30 monthly subscription model
The platform operates on a flat $30 monthly subscription. Members gain access to full operator contact details and can book directly, with no commissions or additional booking fees charged by the marketplace.
Travellers can filter flights by departure city, arrival destination, aircraft category and travel date. All inventory is sourced from licensed operators in the US and Canada, according to the company.
Founder and chief executive Zaher Deir said the platform was designed to increase transparency in private aviation pricing.
“Private aviation should be about transparency and opportunity,” he said, adding that members book directly with operators to avoid inflated fees.
Free search, paid booking access
The platform began operating on 17 February 2026. Users can search available listings free of charge, but a paid membership is required to unlock operator details and complete a booking.
The launch reflects growing digitalisation in the business aviation sector, as online platforms seek to make private jet charter pricing more transparent and accessible.
