A select number of leaders in the business aviation industry are set to launch an alternative fuels initiative at EBACE 2018 in Geneva next week.
The new outline will push forward to wider adoption of alternative fuels in aircraft and enhance the development of the fuels. The overall aim is to cut emissions in the industry.
A lunch announcement for the media will take place at EBACE in Geneva, the biggest event in Europe for business aviation.
The outline will state goals of improving fuel efficiency 2 percent every year until 2020, in which carbon neutrality will become the target. The plan is looking towards cutting 50 percent of emissions by 2050.
EVA will be in attendance at the conference. A report on the unveiling will follow.
