Florida-based Broward Aviation Services Group has acquired Support Air, a specialist in aircraft materials and repair management programmes, as part of a strategic effort to expand its capabilities across Boeing and Airbus platforms.
Support Air, based in Miamisburg, Ohio, provides advanced exchanges, consignment services, and repair management solutions for both Boeing and Airbus jets.
The acquisition enhances Broward Aviation’s portfolio, particularly for freighter operators, VIP clients, and corporate flight departments.
Despite the deal, Support Air will continue to operate as a standalone company, with no changes to its leadership team. Both firms emphasised that there is no overlap in services or client bases.
Dennis Amaty, co-founder and president of Broward Aviation said: “Their experience and dedication to customer service align perfectly with ours.
“Support Air’s fleet focus fits seamlessly with our MRO capabilities and ongoing aircraft part-out and component acquisition projects.”
Support Air founder and president Kurt Krafka welcomed the move, stating: “I’ve known and worked with the founders for many years.
“Broward’s group of companies has an excellent reputation, and I couldn’t have asked for better long-term stewards of Support Air.”
The acquisition adds to Broward Aviation’s expanding group, which includes aircraft part-out expert Broward Aviation Services, component provider Air Accessories and Avionics, and FAA- and EASA-approved maintenance provider Jet Air MRO.
