Following its success at winning the award for Interior Design/VIP Completions at The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2020, ALTEA continues to thrive in the face of COVID-19. While many in the aviation industry struggle, ALTEA has successfully supported a major re-financing project for Bombardier and added an aviation finance expert to its eight-strong consultancy.
ALTEA consultancy services helped a group of US-based private financiers (HPS Investment Partners, Apollo Capital Management and Ares Management, close a three-year, $1billion secured-term loan facility for Bombardier. ALTEA founding partner Andrew Butler said, “The Ares-Bombardier refinance is just one of a number of high-profile asset restructuring projects that ALTEA has been working on behind the scenes.”
ALTEA has appointed Angus von Schoenberg as a new partner. Recognised as a leading regional aviation expert, von Schoenberg will work with ALTEA clients as well as continuing as Industry Officer with regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord. This, along with over 25 years’ experience in industry, brings a wealth of understanding in the regional jet and turboprop sectors to ALTEA and its customers.

The appointment of von Schoenberg underpins the extent of ALTEA’s capabilities.
