ALOFT AeroArchitects has been awarded a contract to perform the VVIP interior completion on a new Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) MAX 8.

ALOFT will perform the interior completion project at its hangar facility in Delaware.

ALOFT will oversee all aspects of the highly customized VVIP interior including the integration of the most advanced products available for passenger comfort, onboard systems, and connectivity.

The project will be certified through ALOFT’s in-house Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) on behalf of the FAA.

Matt Hill, ALOFT’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, comments: “We’re truly honored to be selected as the completion partner by a savvy aircraft owner who has outfitted and operated several VVIP narrow and widebody aircraft over the years.

“From that perspective, he values the experience, capabilities, quality, and dedicated project focus he will receive at ALOFT and understands the attributes in a project partner that truly make a difference in delivering an exceptional result.

“Once delivered, the aircraft will be amongst the most elegant and well equipped in operation.”

As with all MAX Boeing Business Jets, the aircraft will also be equipped with an ALOFT Auxiliary Fuel System (AFS).

The AFS is installed in the forward and aft cargo compartments.

It is modular and configurable to meet the customer’s mission requirements and can increase the aircraft range by up to 50%.
