Private aviation company Airshare announced today two new additions to its expanding sales team.
Both serving as Vice President of Sales in their respective markets, Rob Black and Harvey Murphy add a wealth of experience in aircraft sales and revenue generation to Airshare.
Black joins Airshare after serving as Director of Sales at Jet It where he reached more than $100 million in sales.
As a founding employee at Jet It, Black developed strong client relationships and established organizational processes that catapulted company revenue.
Overseeing Airshare’s newest market, Florida, Black will lead the company’s fractional ownership sales in all markets within the region, including Miami-Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Naples and Orlando.
“I am excited to join the Airshare team as Vice President of Sales in Florida. With my experience in fractional sales within the region, I’m ready to hit the ground running to support Airshare’s expansion here. From the aircraft to the various unique program offerings, to the outstanding culture and customer service at Airshare, customers in Florida will find themselves right at home with us, whether traveling for business or pleasure.”
Together with Black, Harvey Murphy joins Airshare with over 10 years of experience in private aviation sales. Previously, Murphy served as Vice President of Sales at FXAIR where he spearheaded client sales and was recognized as their first vice president to establish the Chicago territory.
Murphy also brings expertise in integrating sales and business development strategies from his tenures at VistaJet, Victor and BLADE, where he provided industry knowledge as a resource to existing and prospective clients.
At Airshare, Murphy will lead sales for the Chicago, Indianapolis and Buffalo markets.
“As a Midwest native, and having called Chicago home for several years, I’m excited to share the benefits of Airshare to the Upper Midwest including Chicago, Indianapolis, and Buffalo,” Murphy said.
“Our fleet and pricing model is perfect for Midwest travelers and well positioned to support both regional and nationwide travel. I look forward to providing a tailored approach to the residents in these markets.”
Airshare recently launched its entry into the Florida region and plans further expansion into the Northeast over the next year.
“Rob and Harvey are both outstanding additions to our sales team,” said Chief Revenue Officer Dylan Haynie.
“Having them lead sales in these regions will help us significantly enhance our brand presence there and generate new business across our entire suite of private aviation solutions.”
