Airline Handling International
Launch Date: 01/07/2007
Airline Handling International is a quarterly publication aimed at handling procurement executives in the airlines, be they scheduled, charter, cargo, low-cost, regional or any other type of airline. In particular we ask airline executives with responsibility for purchasing ground handling services about their criteria for selecting handlers and the contractual areas on which they just will not budge.
Further, handlers respond through in-depth interviews on their strategies, investment plans and quality assurance programmes. We ask whether handling can ever be managed as a business process and whether IT providers have a real role to play in shifting the strategic management of the handling industry on to a higher level.
Finally, ground support equipment suppliers have their say. We find out about the resources and equipment available to assist handlers and handling organisations to ensure safety, quality and economic standards are met so that the handling industry can polish its performance, minimise costs and improve those bottom lines.
