Achieving 100% on-time performance for ramp cargo handling throughout 2008 has earned the Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) team at Newark International Airport in New York a special award from customer, Air Transport International (ATI). WFS has worked with ATI in Newark since 2005 and handles twice daily DC-8 freighter flights for the airline every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as a daily cargo operation each Monday and Friday. ATI carries domestic air cargo for BAX Global in the US and contracts WFS to provide loading and unloading of its DC-8F aircraft.
