During November, 612,470 passengers travelled through Southwest Florida International Airport, a decrease of 6.2 per cent compared to November 2010. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 0.7 per cent from the same period last year.

The traffic leader in November was Delta with 123,808 passengers travelling to and from Fort Myers. Rounding out the top five airlines were AirTran (115,120), Southwest (77,489), JetBlue (73,694) and US Airways (55,373).

Southwest Florida International Airport had 6,650 aircraft movements (takeoffs and landings), a decrease of 7 per cent compared to November 2010. Page Field saw 7,183 movements, a 7.3 per cent increase from November 2010. In addition, more than 2.5 million pounds of air freight moved through Southwest Florida International Airport in November 2011, a decrease of 7.5 per cent compared to November 2010.
