Avidyne announces MLX780

Avidyne Corporation has introduced its new MLX780 Iridium-based transceiver that provides worldwide airborne telephone and two-way datalink weather capability. Avidyne also announced an upgrade programme that allows existing MLX770 datalink-only customers to add airborne telephone capability. In addition to having the same worldwide datalink features as Avidyne’s existing MLX770, the MLX780 provides affordable in-flight satellite telephone capability that is well suited for cabin or cockpit use.
